Timeline: Summer/Fall 2020
Funding: Primarily through KDOT Transportation Alternatives (TA) grant. Funding for this project was announced in December, 2018.
Project: 6-foot wide new sidewalk, ADA accessibility, decorative lighting and benches from Baker University (8th Street) westerly to the Midland Railway crossing along the southside of Elm Street.
Public Meeting: June 24, 2020 – notification was first sent to property owners on March 6, 2020, again March 16 when it became clear in-person meetings were not going to be possible, and then again on May 7th with details.

High Street Sidewalk
Timeline: In progress, Summer 2020
Funding: City
Project: This is a fill-in project, replacing and/or adding new sidewalk from 8th to Main Streets along the southside of High Street.
Public notification: Letters sent to property owners on March 12, 2020

Fremont/Santa Fe Sidewalk (Eastside Sidewalk Project)
Timeline: In Progress, Summer, 2020
Funding: City
Project: 5-6 foot wide new sidewalk along the southside of Fremont from 6th Street to Liston Stadium, along the westside of 1st Street to Santa Fe Drive, then Santa Fe Drive to Highway 56.

MAPLE LEAF TRAIL
Timeline: Summer/Fall 2021
Funding: Primarily through Transportation Alternatives (TA) grant. KDOT announced funding for the 2nd Phase of this project on February 26, 2020.
Project: 10-foot wide multi-use pathway, ADA accessibility, decorative lighting and benches along the eastside of the railroad tracks.
Public Meeting: TBD (2021)
