Born Dan Gasser, Elton Dan’s journey to embodying the spirit of the Rocket Man began early. At his grandmother’s urging, he started piano lessons at just ten years old. What began as a chore quickly transformed into a passion the moment he discovered Elton John’s music.
That spark became a lifelong flame the night Dan saw Elton John live at Caesar’s Palace. From then on, he was hooked, attending 26 more concerts, including seven from the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. His admiration grew even deeper upon learning of Elton’s humanitarian work, inspiring Dan to follow in those footsteps. Over the years, he has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for Kansas City charities through his tribute bands.
