Seasonal Maintenance Tech I - Parks

Reports To: Public Works Director or Designee
FLSA Status: Non-exempt (eligible for overtime pay)
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Public Works or designee, the Seasonal position is nonexempt under FLSA. This position provides custodial and light maintenance services for buildings, grounds, and facilities. This employee should possess a strong mechanical aptitude, as well as effective communication and public relations skills.
Applicants must be 18 years old with a valid driver's license, and insurable by the City's insurance provider.
There is potential to move into a full time position at the end of the season.
This position will work mainly with parks and landscaping maintenance, mowing grass and watering flowers.
Minimum Required Education: High school diploma or General Education Development (G.E.D.).
