Baldwin City lost power around 6:15am on Wednesday, May 7th. The Power Plant crew had power back inside town, using internal generation, by approximately 7am.
We were reconnected to the exterior feed at about 10:15am, after generating our own power to the town for over three hours.
Thanks to the Power Plant crew for their excellent work!
A tree fell on the main power feed into town, necessitating removal from the external grid in order to safely cut the tree off of the line. Power was maintained for citizens via internal generation from the City powerplant.
