A short update from the Baldwin City Mayor, Gerry Cullumber.

A new council-approved project is launching on May 1st, to bring updates about utility outages and other information to residents.

A tree fell at the corner of Ames Street and Washington Street during Monday's morning storms, causing a power outage on the northeast side of town.

Sunday morning, April 26th, the Baldwin City Police Department arrested and booked into the Douglas County Jail a 34-year-old Baldwin City woman for domestic criminal damage and aggravated assault on a Law Enforcement Officer.

All city-owned utilities will see changes in pricing on the bills that go out in March.

Two crosswalk projects are currently under construction inside Baldwin City limits.

A simple “Blue Envelope” may be a key to helping first responders better serve people in Douglas County who may require a more tailored experience during an emergency – in everything from routine traffic stops to more critical incidents..

Baldwin City Police Department will perform VIN Inspections from 9am-noon ONLY on March 27th.
