Downtown is closed for the Rec Commission's Thunder on the Bricks car show event on Saturday, May 10th.
Internal power generation used for over three hours during power outage.
A tree fell on the main power feed into town, necessitating removal from the external grid in order to safely cut the tree off of the line. Power was maintained for citizens via internal generation from the City powerplant.
Culverts under the road allowing access to the east side of the City Lake collapsed in March, necessitating culvert replacement.

8th street will be closed for repairs between Baker and Chapel on Wednesday, April 3rd beginning at 8AM.
Baldwin City Public Works Department submits an annual report to the state of Kansas regarding the quality of our drinking water.
City workers will be picking up limbs next week. Please have them to the curb by Monday, January 22nd.
Our Public Works crew has been working all weekend to keep the roads as clear as possible.
