Road closures for Festival of Lights Parade on Saturday, December 7th
A vacancy has occurred on the Council for the City of Baldwin City, and the governing body is seeking applicants to fill the vacancy.
3rd Street is closed at High Street for asphalt repair, after the sewer line installation earlier this summer. Public Works expects to have the road reopened by approximately 2pm today
TRUCK ROUTE CLOSURE ALERT: High Street will be closed from 6th Street to 9th Street, and 8th Street will be closed from Grove Street to Indiana Street for Smoke on the Bricks.
A localized electric outage occurred this morning, August 8, near Highway 56 and Wesley Street.
All electric usage per kilowatt hour rate categories are increased by 5% for usage beginning July 1, 2024, and again 5% on October 1, 2024 per City Council Ordinance.
US-56 from US-59 to Baldwin City chip and seal work started today and should finish by early next week.
This includes City Hall, Public Works, and the Police Department.
Chip and seal road maintenance work moves into Phase IV in 2024, with the north and east sections of town finished and the west side left to do.
The Baldwin City Recreation Commission's Thunder on the Bricks car show returns to Baldwin City this weekend. Please be aware that 8th and High Streets will be closed to parking and through traffic from 6am on Saturday, May 11, until approximately 4pm the same day.
